dental hygiene appointment coordinator/transcriptionist(specialty practice/periodontist(gum specialist). duties include: typing digital transcription doctor letters, to be mailed to referring dentists. vocabulary is very scientific/strange to non-dental/medical people("cheat sheet" available to help in this regard). contacting and appointing hygiene patients on appointment books. greeting new patients, being friendly, cordial, presenting well, as you will be the first person the patient will see and are our "first impression" to new patients. very conservative patient base. not ok, re piercings, obvious tatoos, etc. dental /medical office experience preferred. mandatory computer skills and some transcription experience a must. please do not apply if no transcription skills....... hours: monday-thursday, 7:30-330pm; fridays off. salary negotiable re experience.
